Where you were born? London but I grew up in Sudbury, Suffolk.
Do you have any children? Yes, 3 beautiful children.
How long have you been a member of the club? Since 2012
Why do you enjoy running? Being outdoors, especially in the countryside, meeting fellow runners, running cross-country, the sense of freedom, energy and escape it provides, the feeling of achievement and a calmed sense of mind after a run or a race.
What have been your running highs and lows? Highs, so many! To name a few: Cross country races in Essex, discovering parkrun in November 2011 (Milton Keynes), running by the sea at the Harwich 5k Handicap series, lovely summer evening runs across the fields with BSRC, summer handicap races and socials with Halstead Road Runners in Essex (where I met Dan!)..and of course parkrun Buckingham arriving on our doorstep last year, amazing.
Name a piece of running kit you can’t live without? I love the fact that you don’t really need much kit for running.
What is your biggest running achievement? I can’t decide on this one… so perhaps it’s yet to come!
What do you hope to achieve this year? I would like to run parkrun in my barefoot running sandals on a hot summer’s morning.
Do you listen to music when you run, if so what do you like? No. I like the sounds of nature best of all.
What is your post run treat? Hemp protein smoothie. Bath. Feet up.
Any other hobbies or interests? Yoga. Spending time with my children. Walking around Stowe- such a fantastic place. Camping (often in Southwold).
Do you have an interesting fact about yourself? Baby no 3 was delivered by Dan on our bathroom floor on the day of the London Marathon last year, hence why we named him ‘Miles’!

Where you were born? Kingston, Greater London
Do you have any children? Yes x 2. Florence aged 7 going on 17 and Theo just aged 5. (He’s the easy one)
How long have you been a member of the club? 8 Months
Why do you enjoy running? Keeping fit, beating PB’s, being social and sense of achievement
What have been your running highs and lows? Highs have been getting sub 21 in a Parkrun and completing my first Marathon in a 1 hour and 45 mins (and 12 seconds but we don’t talk about that)
Name a piece of running kit you can’t live without? Garmin watch and my ‘short’ shorts
What is your biggest running achievement? I suppose it has to be the half marathon in 1hr 45 mins but looking for bigger and better than that!!!
Do you listen to music when you run, if so what do you like? No never, too many mental drivers out there taking corners like they are Lewis Hamilton on F1 race day!!!
What is your post run treat? Pint of water followed by a pint of beer
Any other hobbies or interests? Supporting Spurs and entertaining my 2 lovely children (and running my business, I do love work believe it or not!!!).
Do you have an interesting fact about yourself? I had trials with Wimbledon FC (before they became MK Dons) to be a Goalkeeper (but never made it). My brother claims this fact is false, but I just say he’s jealous!!!
